Post subject: Obama Atheist?

During Obama's inauguration address he mentioned non-believers as part of this country. I've seen a bunch of backlash on the internet from the religous as 'yes we acknowledge muslims and jews as 'american' but atheists - we don't think so'.

Just the fact that Obama mentioned non-religous is such a huge step forward. George W. Bush was highly religous yes, but his father said atheists were NOT to be considered citizens less then 20 years ago.

I don't want to label Obama something he isn't, but considering his mixed background of several religons and time spent in other countrys (especailly growing up), puts him in a position pretty prone to being atheist. But, being non-christian is political suicide in this country so for him to be openly atheist is not an option...at least until the next presidential election.
